Latvia Tourfilm Riga filmfest to screen three Iran films

International Tourism Film Festival Tourfilm Riga in Latvia is to screen three Iranian films.

‘The Mirror of Fancy’ by Farhad Pakdel, Reza Majlesi’s ‘Where Do We Go?’ and ‘The Hole of Life’ directed by Ali-Mohammad Eqbaldar are the three films that are to be screened at the 10th edition of the International Tourism Film Festival Tourfilm Riga.

‘The Mirror of Fancy’ is about a handicrafts expert who goes to Shiraz to do research on mirror art decoration at holy sites in Iran.

The documentary ‘Where Do We Go?’ warns about waste disposal and its environmental repercussions in northern Iran.

‘The Hole of Life’ tells the story of a little girl who saves the fish her father catches.

Festival Tourfilm Riga has been organized by the Riga City Council for the 10th time. The festival has also been a member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals since 2009.

The event accepts tourism films in the following categories: tourism destination, cultural tourism, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, tourism services, events, fairs and congresses and Latvian tourism product.
